Monster noises and rolling, rolling, rolling

Jet has finally rolled from his back to his tummy, which is not as easy as tummy to back.(he mastered that a while a go). I am so proud of him and can't believe how fast he is growing up. I have never felt so proud about something before, it's strange, i want to shout it out the window and tell everyone I know. Well maybe that's why I'm blogging it, :) It's just a big milestone and I love how he loves learning new things.

Another milestone that he has mastered is his "Monster noise" voice. I have to thank his "girlfriend" Paige for this one as she LOVES to do monster noises and he must have picked it up on their play dates. I absolutely love these noises because it's a sound that you would never think a baby would make. Now that Jet can make these noises he is officially a big boy in my eyes, man where did my 6 lb new born go? He's turned into a 14 1/2 lb rolling monster machine and i love it!

Off to find someone that I can brag to about my big boy.

You know your a mom when...

You change your shower routine so that you wash your hair first in case you have to jump out quickly, you can always put on perfume..

You are walking around in the mall and you realize it's you that smells like vomit not that strange looking dude beside you.

You can hum all the tunes of the bouncer and swing by heart and find your self doing it randomly.

You can push a stroller, hold in a soother, walk the dog and answer your cell phone all at the same time.

You rather hold your sleeping baby no matter how heavy they get just to get in more cuddle time

You can hear your baby make a peep even when you are in the deepest sleep

You can tell your baby's cry from across Walmart

The make up and hair brush in your purse is replaced with diaper cream and baby wipes

You sit in the walk in clinic for 3 hours just for the Dr to tell you "it's normal"

being covered in sit up, pee or poop doesn't phase you at all.

you ask your husband" what did the poop look like?"

you can change your babies clothes and diaper with no lights on at night so they don't wake up

being able to sleep for 6 hours straight is heaven

You start to sway and rock even when you are not holding your baby

last but not least

you know your a mom when all you want to do is just watch your sleeping baby not matter how sleep deprived you are or that the chores are piling up.

New to all of this

So I have never blogged before but seeing some of my friends blogs I realized that it would be a great way for me to capture and document our family, as a posed to scribbling Jet's milestones on the flimsy white board I have. I guess I have a lot to catch up on seeing that Jet is almost 4 months old, but trying to do something like this back when he was born would have resulted in a bunch of nonsense I'm sure as sleep deprivation was in full affect. Now that I'm getting a reasonable amount of sleep this actually may work.
